WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with Fr. Marino H. Msigala,  O.F.M. Capuchin PRAYER TO THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore You, I love You, I thank You.   With sincere sorrow for my sins I offer You this poor heart of mine, my prayers, works, joys and suffering. Make me humble, patient, generous, and wholly obedient to Your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Grant me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen. On this  SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY , open your heart to the Sacred Heart of Jesus with love, gratitude, and contrition. Remember that every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You.

Capuchin   THE JESUS PRAYER   To live in the presence of God throughout the day, pray The Jesus Prayer:   “Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.”   Pray this short prayer:   As an offering for a particular person or a prayer request.   As a way to distract your mind from temptation and raise it to God.   As a way to focus your attention when you feel anxious, worried, or upset.   On this  SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY , pray The Jesus Prayer and make it your “go to” prayer in times of anxiety, worry, fear, or loneliness.
