JESUS IS WITH YOU



Jesus never sends you out alone.

Jesus walks behind you.

Jesus stands beside you.

Jesus goes before you.

Whatever your present situation,

Be confident!

You are never alone.

Jesus is always with you.

Jesus is with you all ways.

On this SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY, and anytime that you feel alone, just look behind you and see Jesus; look next to you and see Jesus; look ahead of you and see Jesus leading the way. Jesus is your constant companion and will always be with you in all ways. “And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 20.

 


Fr. Marino H. Msigala, O.F.M. Capuchin was born in Kibakwe, Mpwapwa, Dodama Tanzania, Africa, on January 23, 1978. He was ordained to the Ministerial Priesthood on July 12, 2012, by Archbishop Gervas John M. Nyaisonga. Following his service as Pastor in his home country of Tanzania, Father was commissioned to the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Augustine in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was assigned studies and pastoral duty at Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley, PA. After he completed his Master's Degree at Villanova University, Father was reassigned to serve as chaplain and pastoral care at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He completed his ministry there and returned to Tanzania on May 7, 2024.

LOSS, LOVE, GRATITUDE

Msigala, OFM Capuchin LOSS, LOVE, GRATITUDE During November, we mourn the loss of loved ones, but we also celebrate their lives and what they meant to us in our own lives. We are grateful for those who walked beside us and continue to do so even after they’re gone from our sight. We believe in the afterlife. We believe we will meet again. We mourn their loss, but we are thankful for the love we shared. Today, take a moment to think of family and friends who have gone before us.  On this Spiritual Workout Wednesday,  let’s pray for each one with special fervor and celebrate their lives in the knowledge that someday we will be together again.

No one goes through life without experiencing fear. Fear contributes positively to defending (or at least warning) us against danger. However, if not managed, fear can weigh us down, knock us out, hold us back, destroy our peace of mind, force us to withdraw, and rob our hearts of happiness. Let us face our litany of human fears with the courage found in the power of prayer. Fear of failure. Fear of darkness. Fear of illness. Fear of rejection. Fear of discovery. Fear of speaking up, or out, or publicly. Fear of unemployment. Fear of harm to those I love. Fear of hating those who seek to harm me. Fear of falling, heights, depths, of water, and of fire.
