A MORNING WISH

Image
WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with Fr. Marino H. Msigala,  OFM Capuchin A MORNING WISH The sun is just rising on the morning of another day, the first day of the new year. What can I wish that this day, that this year, may bring to me? WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with  Fr. Marino H. Msigala,  OFM Capuchin   I AM THE NEW YEAR I am the New Year. I am an unspoiled page in your book of time. I am your next chance at the art of living. I am your opportunity to practice what you have learned about life during the past twelve months. All that you sought and didn’t find is hidden in me, waiting for you to search it but with even more determination than in the past. All the good that you sought but didn’t achieve is mine to grant when you focus on hope, on the new opportunity to find what you seek. All that you dreamed but didn’t dare to do, all that you hoped but did not will, all the faith that you claimed but did not have—these slumber lightly, waiting to be awakened by the touch of a strong purpose. I am the New Year. I am your opportunity to renew your allegiance to Him who said, "Behold, I make all things new." Revelation 21:5 On this SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY , gree

If you take a person to Mass with you, You have planted the seeds of Faith. If you lead someone to repentance, You have raised the dead. Now go and perform miracles! On this SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY , consider which miracle you might perform this week. What other miracles are possible in our daily lives? Ask God for the courage and strength to perform at least one.
