LOVE CONQUERS ALL

 

There is no difficulty that is too great for love to conquer.

No disease that enough love will not heal.
No door that enough love will not open.
No gulf that enough love will not bridge.
No wall that enough love will not remove.
No sin that enough love will not absolve.
 

It makes no difference

How terrible the trouble
How hopeless the outlook
How muddled the situation
How great the mistake
How profound the grief
How horrible the sin


Love will dissolve it all…
If only we could love enough,
We would be the happiest
and most powerful people in the world.

On this SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY, know that love is costly. Be ready to pay the price. Forgiving in love costs us our sense of justice and fair play. Serving in love costs us time and effort. Sharing in love costs us money and resources. Every act of love costs us something. Despite the cost, we must live a life of love, just as God the Father loves us and Christ gave Himself for us at immeasurable cost. Love does not count the cost. Love costs and love counts!


Fr. Marino H. Msigala, O.F.M. Capuchin was born in Kibakwe, Mpwapwa, Dodama Tanzania, Africa, on January 23, 1978. He was ordained to the Ministerial Priesthood on July 12, 2012, by Archbishop Gervas John M. Nyaisonga. Following his service as Pastor in his home country of Tanzania, Father was commissioned to the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Augustine in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was assigned studies and pastoral duty at Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley, PA. After he completed his Master's Degree at Villanova University, Father was reassigned to serve as chaplain and pastoral care at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He completed his ministry there and returned to Tanzania on May 7, 2024.

No one goes through life without experiencing fear. Fear contributes positively to defending (or at least warning) us against danger.
