TEN QUESTIONS GOD WILL NOT ASK YOU


God will not ask what kind of car you drive; He will ask how many people you have given a ride.

God will not ask how big your house is; He will ask how many people you invited.

God won't ask about the brand of clothes in your closet; He will ask how many others you helped to clothe.

God won't ask how much money you made; He will ask if you shared it with others.

God won't ask what your job was; He will ask if you did your job to the best of your ability.

God won't ask how many friends you had; He will ask how many people considered you a friend.

God will not ask where you lived; He will ask how you treated your neighbors.

God will not ask about your skin color; He will ask how much love is in your heart.

God will not ask why it took so long to seek Him; He will embrace you whenever you are ready to receive Him.

God won't ask how many people you shared His Good News with, but He will ask why you did not share it.


On this SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY, ask yourself: How do I share the Good News of God’s love with others? What am I holding onto right now that I know I must let go so I can be in a full relationship with God? Pray for the grace to let go and let God!


Fr. Marino H. Msigala, OFM Capuchin was born in Kibakwe, Mpwapwa, Dodama Tanzania, Africa, on January 23, 1978. He was ordained to the Ministerial Priesthood on July 12, 2012, by Archbishop Gervas John M. Nyaisonga. Following his service as Pastor in his home country of Tanzania, Father was commissioned to the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Augustine in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was assigned studies and pastoral duty at Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley, PA. After he completed his Master's Degree at Villanova University, Father was reassigned to serve as chaplain and pastoral care at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He completed his ministry there and returned to Tanzania on May 7, 2024.

Msigala, OFM Capuchin NOVEMBER: MONTH OF REMEMBRANCE As we begin November, the month of remembrance, we pray in a special way for our loved ones who have gone before us. Our faith teaches that the Church is comprised of three states of being. The Church Triumphant in heaven, the Church Militant on earth, and the Church Suffering in purgatory. One of the most beautiful things about the Church is that it is the Body of Christ. Whether it’s the Church on Earth, Heaven, or Purgatory, it is all one Body, and it is all connected.
