God canceled your plans to save your life.
He sent you in the opposite direction to avoid danger.
You missed your flight but saved your life.
You didn’t get the job, but there’s a better one ahead.
He fights battles you know nothing about.
His plan is better than yours.
You owe everything to God.
Thank Him with a grateful amen!
On this SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY, be patient when things
don’t seem to be going your way. Be assured that things are going God’s way. He
is the way, the truth, and the life. Trust His plan.

I apologize upfront, but this is going to be a long post, as this message about God's plan made me reflect...
ReplyDeleteI admit, it had been quite a while since I had checked in on this app. Busy life, busy work... but I should have no excuses. This week, I took a flight to meet my newborn granddaughter for the first time and to spend the week helping out my daughter and son-in- law.
Prior to takeoff, I began praying for a safe flight. However, when I went to transition my phone to airplane mode, I discovered that my "Meditating with Fr Marino" app was open to "Memorare...Remember." I read the passage and prayed the prayer but the lines "I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother" caught my attention and I immediately felt like I had received a message and felt protected in my journey.
This morning, I woke up early and sat in my bedroom, not wanting to awaken the new baby or the exhausted parents. "Meditating with Fr Marino" app popped up again, on my phone, seemingly on its own. Fr Marino's words have always provided me with the most insight and comfort, so after reading "the 7 messages of Fatima" post from today, I began to go back through previous posts.
This post struck a chord, remembering Fr. Marino's past homilies..."God's plan is the right plan," and I will indeed thank him with a grateful Amen!
