WHAT’S THE PASSWORD FOR CONNECTING TO GOD?

Image
WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with Fr. Marino H. Msigala, OFM Capuchin WHAT’S THE PASSWORD FOR CONNECTING TO GOD?   When God created fish, He spoke to the sea. When God created trees, He spoke to the earth, When God created man, He turned to Himself. Then, God said, “Let Us make man in Our image and likeness.”   If you take a fish out of water, it will die. If you remove a tree from the soil, it will also die. Likewise, when men and women are disconnected from God, they will die. God is our natural environment. We were created to live in His presence. We have to be connected to Him because it is only in Him that life exists.   We recall that water without fish is still water, But fish without water are nothing. Soil without trees is still soil, But trees without soil are nothing. God without man is still God, But man without God is nothing.   On this  SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY,  know that we are nothing without God. Reme

Image
WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with Fr. Marino H. Msigala, OFM Capuchin REMEMBER WHOSE YOU ARE WHEN YOU'RE GOING THROUGH A TOUGH TIME, REMEMBER: Everything can and will change. You’ve overcome challenges in the past and you will again. It’s a learning experience and it’s part of life. Not getting what you want can be a blessing in disguise. Allow yourself to have some fun; laughter is the best medicine. Being kind to yourself, you deserve it. Disregard other people’s negativity; counter it with positivity. REMEMBER: You are a child of God. He holds you in the palm of His hand. There is always, always, always something to be thankful for. Count your blessings and thank God for them.   On this  SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY , make a list of a few things that you are grateful for. Thank God for them. Not everyone is so blessed.

IF YOU DON’T KNOW, MAKE IT A PRAYER

Image
WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with Fr. Marino H. Msigala, OFM Capuchin IF YOU DON’T KNOW, MAKE IT A PRAYER Did you know there’s a prayer called the “I DON’T KNOW” prayer? Just go somewhere quiet And sit at the feet of God And say, “I don’t know.”   I don’t know where to go from here. I don’t know what is happening. I don’t know how to process this. I don’t know what to do with these feelings. I don’t know how to handle this situation. I don’t know if I can survive this. I don’t know when things will change for me. I don’t know how things will end up. I don’t know if there is any help for me. I don’t know if anyone cares about me. Then, with whatever little grain of faith that you have, say, “BUT YOU KNOW.” Just leave it there. God hears your prayer. On this  SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY, if you know that God knows, say “Amen.” That’s all there is to it!
