I PRAYED; GOD ANSWERED

Image
WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with Fr. Marino H. Msigala, OFM Capuchin   I PRAYED; GOD ANSWERED   I asked for strength, that I might achieve. I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.   I asked for health, that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.   I asked for riches so that I might be happy. I was given poverty, that I might be wise.   I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness, that I might feel the need for God.   I asked for all things that I might enjoy in life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things.   I received nothing that I asked for, but everything I needed. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all, most richly blessed.   On this  SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY , know that God answers every prayer even if it’s not exactly what was expected. God gives what is needed; not necessarily...

EVERY TIME…

WORKOUT WEDNESDAY A Midweek Spiritual Workout with  Fr. Marino H. Msigala,  O.F.M. Capuchin EVERY TIME… You remember… Forgive again. Forgiveness is not a one-time action. You must choose it repeatedly, Over and over again - Even if the offense, sin, or hurt Happened years ago. It’s good to be reminded That every time you remember: Choose to forgive again. Forgive for your freedom, Forgive for your joy, Forgive for your peace. Don’t allow bitterness and pride To take root in your heart. Surrender quickly to the Lord And forgive. On this  SPIRITUAL WORKOUT WEDNESDAY , remember that July is dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. Know that “without the shedding of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, there is no forgiveness of sins.” (Hebrews 9:22) Jesus shed His Blood for us. Allow His Most Precious Blood to wash over your heart, and every time you remember, forgive again.
